I discovered I've been listening to metal for 25 years this summer. It was in 1996, I was 13 years old and in the back of the car with my parents, when the radio was live from festival Pinkpop in the Netherlands (where I live). Sepultura was playing. I was already in love with Nirvana, so I had been exposed to heavy guitars, but this was something else. I don't remember which songs I heard, but the setlist was fucking incredible. I fell in love with heavy music there and then on the back of my parents car.Here's to 25 more.
