New albums you need to hear
🌶️ Crypta - Echoes of the Soul (melodic death/thrash from Brazil/Netherlands)
The singles Crypta have released didn't really hit me, but we metalheads know better: it's about the whole album. And Echoes of the Soul is full of creative twists and turns, venomous vocals and a a shitload of atmosphere.
There's more: Machine Head (groove/thrash from the USA - these are three songs and the call it a single but wtf is that. Also important to know: this is not bad) Gorgon (black from France), Poppy (art-pop/industrial ? from the USA, surprise ep), Dornenreich (symphonic black/neofolk from Austria), General Surgery (death/grind from Sweden), Grief Collector (doom from the USA), Crucifixion Bell (🌶️ black from the USA), Eremit (doom/sludge from Germany), Akvan (folk/black from Iran), Mother of All (melodeath from Denmark), Interloper (melodic/progressive metal/metalcore from the USA), Exsanguination (death from the USA) and a live record from Mr. Bungle (death/thrash/avantgarde from the USA).
New singles
There are new songs, singles and advance tracks out from: Wolves in the Throne Room (🌶️ atmoblack from the USA), Deafheaven (you tell me what this is, from the USA), Amenra (doom/sludge from Belgium), Wormwitch (🌶️ black/crust from Canada), Lantlôs (post-black from Germany), Botanist (post-black from the USA), Die Apokalyptischen Reiter (black/folk/heavy from Germany), Rosy Finch (stoner/sludge from Spain), Craven Idol (🌶️ black/thrash from the UK), Disentomb (brutal death from Australia), Withered (black/death/sludge from the USA), Black Royal (heavy/stoner/death from Finland) and a live tune from Enslaved (prog black from Norway).
