To The Teeth: Oranssi Pazuzu, Code Orange, Serpent Column, Paradise Lost
totheteeth.substack.com
Welcome to the third To The Teeth newsletter. I'll bring you up to date with new heavy music. Mostly metal, but some won't make it into the Metal Archives I'm sure.I don't know what to say. These are strange, uncertain times. All concerts in my country are suspended until april and who knows what will happen in april. All I know is the music industry gets - like almost every industry right now - a hard punch in the face from this virus, and my thoughts are with all the bands, venues, promotors, illustrators, merch sellers, bookers, agents, light-people, sound-people, labels, managers and all others who get hit. Especially the ones in lockdown or quarantaine. I wanted to make this issue a little leaner and shorter, but I figured this must be the perfect time to over-feed some people with new stuff.I don't know what soothes you in times like these, but music does have a good reputation. Maybe it's the new Oranssi Pazuzu song, ten minutes of psyched out black metal? Or the punishing new Serpent Column? Maybe the wild new Code Orange? To be sure, I've also added the new Fish song. I like it. And if Fish can't help us, who can? Let's stream the hell out of everything (and if you can, buy merch and other physical stuff too) it might just help the creators a little bit.As always: listen to everything listed here (well, most of it) on the playlist on Spotify, check out the Facebook page and if you want to support, head over to Patreon! (I’m funding this newsletter with it).
