To The Teeth: My Dying Bride, Nightwish, Ulcerate, Azure Emote
I didn't expect so many subscribers in such a short time, over 70! That's great! The music this week ain't too shabby, either. My Dying Bride is back with their morose, tragic doom. It's more accessible than ever, but no less beautiful. I really didn't expect their new record to be as good as it is to be honest, but actual tragedy (singer Aaron Stainthorpe's young daughter battled cancer, and won) seems to have inspired creativity.
Furthermore, I think it's really cool former Dillinger Escape Plan singer Greg Puciato is back with a solo project, I think that's a really bold and brave step to make, and it sounds awesome (it's very DEP-y!). If you want your brains burned out, check out the new Ulcerate song. My favorite surprise this week is Azure Emote. I had never heard of 'm, but it's amazing.
As always: listen to everything listed here (well, most of it) on the playlist on Spotify, check out the Facebook page and if you want to support, head over to Patreon! (I'm now funding this newsletter with it).

Next Week
I'm looking forward to next week because of: the massive Spectral Lore & Mare Cognitum split, Jonathan Hultén and Lychgate.
Non-metal album of the week: Islet - Eyelet.
Have a great weekend! - Peter.
