🌶️ To The Teeth: Mastodon, Be'lakor, Archspire, Thulcandra, Ghost Bath, Star One
New albums
Mastodon (🌶️ progressive sludge from the USA). They're one of my most beloved bands and there are not many bands I've seen live more times than Mastodon. I vividly remember hearing Remission for the first time (yes I'm old) and later having my brains explodized when Leviathan totally topped it. Their discography is vast and a little patchy, but I really like what they've done with their sound on this new one. It's a layered, interesting, very cool journey.
There's more: Thulcandra (🌶️ melodic black/death from Germany), Archspire (tech death from Canada), Be'lakor (melodeath from Australia), Sunless (prog death from the USA), Monolord (stoner doom from Sweden), Helheim (🌶️ viking/black from Norway), Doedsvangr (black from Norway/Finland), Burial (death/doom from Italy), Lucifer (stoner/heavy from ), Ghost Bath (post-black from the USA - yes, the USA, never forget their stupid dumb lie), Ad Infinitum (symphonic from Switzerland), Sol Sistere (atmoblack from Chile), Kaldeket (black from the USA - ex-members of False), First Fragment (neoclassical/tech death from Canada), Ophis (death/doom from Germany), Intaglio (funeral doom from Russia), Marissa Nadler (dark folk from the USA), Running Wild (heavy/power from Germany), Outre-Tombe (death from Canada), Kayo Dot (avantgarde/experimental from the USA), Mortal Vision (thrash from Ukraine), Häxkapell (black from Sweden), and Goat Torment (black from Belgium).
New singles
There are new songs out from: Star One (prog from the Netherlands - this is Arjen 'Ayreon' Lucassen's other project, featuring Tony Martin, Roy Khan and Steve Vai), Volbeat (heavy/groove from Denmark), Moon Tooth (🌶️ prog from the USA), Sabaton (power from Sweden), Allegaeon (tech/melodic death from the USA), Riverside (prog from Poland), Genocide Pact (death from the USA), Bloody Tyrant 暴君 (melodic death/folk from Taiwan), Astrophobos (black from Sweden), Aephanemer (symphonic melodic death from France) and In Mourning (progressive melodeath from Sweden). The rest is in the playlist.
