New Albums

🌶️ Midnight Odyssey (atmoblack from the USA. FFO: Summoning,

Man, this is it. I’ve always liked a song of Midnight Odyssey here and there, a tune, a riff, an idea, but never a full record. This new album is over two hours and it’s a total trip front to back. Standout track is the single, ‘A Fullmoon Madness’ (not the Moonspell cover I expected, but amazing) but really, it just all works. Yes it’s a lot, maybe too much. But that’s the point. It’s like a trip to another planet: of course it’s long, it wouldn’t be worth it otherwise.

We’re continuing the Year of Modern Death Metal with these guys, at it since 2007 and now unto their second full length. They’ve got a new singer and they’re out for blood.

There’s no hope, no future, no fun, no anything. Just the void.
